yarn is very similar all over the world. we all use basicly the same needles, hooks, and yarn sizes, no matter where we live. Baby, fingering, and sock yarns are suitable for premmie patterns.

there are always patterns on http://knitting.about.com and http://crochet.about.com as well as on http://knittingdaily.com

all free sites, but must sign in to download or participate in forums. Generally there are premmie patterns available on most knitting and crochet sites for free because there is such a demand for them for donations to the hospitals and such.

Just thought of another site: http://bellaonline.com, go to the arts and crafts listing then to crochet or knitting sites.

bellaonline does not like Yahoo addresses, so have to have some other address to become a member and post on their forums.
