Question by Alex: Can anybody help me with my Nepeta Cosplay?
I am trying to see if I can’t make a Nepeta cosplay (Nepeta Leijon from Homestuck) and I can’t seem to find any good hat tutorials, or where to buy one (if possible) and where to get the coat? My Old Navy doesn’t have any in stock, I’ve tried.

If you have the option to order things online, I found this coat and I think it’s great!

Yeah, it’s gray, but because it’s light gray it would dye to a nearly perfect color if you used bright green fabric dye. I think it would look so good. But if you’re a stickler for accuracy, you might want to instead buy a sewing pattern and make the entire coat from scratch so it’s the correct length.

As for the hat, I found two pretty good patterns, I think:

Both seem to work, though the second runs a bit small so it might be best to make one out of really cheap fabric at first to test it, and size it up as needed.
