Old Singer sewing machine..need repair..HELP!!?

Question by V: Old Singer sewing machine..need repair..HELP!!?
I have my grandmothers’ old singer …from what I have found I think its a model 128-18…it has an “AG” serial number and fits into the model 128 range.

it also has an electric motor attached to it and a rubber belt from the motor to the wheel. I’d like to get it working again. all the wires are kinda frayed and the shielding has completely decomposed in places.

Anyone have any suggestions for getting it fixed…or shop that will repair it in the Westchester County NY area??
