Q&A: I have acquired a Handheld Smart Stitch (Walmart) sewing machine, where or how do I get a cord for it?
Question by itssandyonthebeach: I have acquired a Handheld Smart Stitch (Walmart) sewing machine, where or how do I get a cord for it?
I have the Handheld Smart Stitch here, it says TV Products, I need an AC adapter. I have the following info to assist:
Has emblem of JOLLY inside an oval, on the side of the machine
Near DC hole it says DC, then 6V600MA.
How do I know if I am bidding on the right one on say EBAY, I bid on a 6 volt 600MA, but the end looks kind of small for this DC hole here. Help?

You’re looking for a 6volt, 600 milliamp power supply. There are some secondary market supplies around that have a number of different tips, and some have switchable voltages — we have a couple here that we use for things that have had fried or lost cords. I think one came from Frys and the other from Radio Shack, fwiw.
However, as someone who sews, I feel I gotta tell you that the hand-held sewing machines work best as paperweights. In fact, the common office stapler sews better than the hand-held sewing machines. If you’ll do a quick web search, I think you’ll find pretty much nothing but complaints.http://www.amazon.com/BBQ-Guys-Stitch-Sewing-Machine/dp/B00069QPZY
